Safety of Terma electric heaters.
The safety of heaters is a key aspect in the design of Terma devices, aimed at providing users not only with efficiency, but above all, safety in use. Each heater has been equipped with at least two safeguards to prevent overheating, as this is one of the greatest potential threats.
The first important safeguard is usually software that constantly monitors the temperature inside the heater. In the event of a sudden increase in temperature, the software immediately turns off the heater, preventing the risk of overheating. This is a preventive measure aimed at minimizing the risk of overheating.
The second key safety element is a thermal fuse, placed in the capillary of the internal structure of the heater. When the heating medium reaches a certain temperature, the fuse automatically interrupts the power supply to the heater. Thanks to this action, the heater is no longer exposed to excessive temperature, which significantly reduces the risk of damage.
Terma offers a variety of heater models with unique features, including:
VEO heater: It is equipped with automatic frost protection, which protects the device from damage due to freezing water, and from overheating. Additionally, the device signals alarm conditions directly and via the control application.VEO
TDY heater: It has frost protection and double protection against excessive temperature rise. It signals alarm conditions and has active protection when working in a dry radiator.TDY
SIM heater: It provides a high degree of protection against moisture and has a thermal fuse in the event of starting in a dry radiator.SIM
ONE – T heater: Equipped with frost protection and double protection against excessive temperature rise. It signals alarm conditions and has active protection when working in a dry radiator.ONE-T
These specialist safeguards allow users to use Terma heaters fully consciously, minimizing the risk of sudden failures and ensuring peace of mind during use.
