The SKT 4 is an isolation class II device, equipped with a FIL PILOTE interface and self-restricting PTC heating element. It measures the temperature inside the room, not the temperature of the radiator. What makes this device exceptional is not only its attractive design or its extended function options, (desirable as they are), but also a function allowing the user to control energy consumption. Our customers have benefitted, most notably, from this device's energy consumption control function, so, if energy consumption is a concern for you, this device is a most desirable solution. The SKT 4 uses an IR sensor to work with an external IR control panel, with an option to program a heating time between 1 and 4 hours. The device allows you to be in charge of energy consumption and offers 9 room temperature settings.

SKT4 is a class II heating element. The class I is also available as a KTX4 device.

Functionality The SKT 4 offers 9 room temperature settings ranging from 20°C do 28°C. An electronic sensor guarantees precise temperature control. The device displays the currently set temperature level and indicates the status of the heating cycle or standby state. The SKT 4 is designed for use with the self-restricting PTC heating element. The unique feature of the SKT range of heating elements is the Terma‑Split System. The Terma‑Split connector makes it possible to disconnect the PTC heating element from the controller head. The KTX 4 is also equipped with an actual heating time counter for energy consumption calculations.

Timer An enhanced timer automatically turns the heating element off after 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours. Remote Control The heater is capable of wireless IR communication with an external wall controller, which enhances the use of the heating element with additional features.

Fil Pilote The SKT 4 heating element features a 6-command Fil Pilote interface. Fil Pilote is a wire interface used for communication between heating element unit and external IR control panel. It requires a separate steering wire in electric installation.

Intelligent Building Systems In case of power loss the SKT4 remembers its settings making it suitable for connection with external timers and intelligent building systems.

Safety The SKT 4 is equipped with a ‘frost’ protection (ANTIFREEZE). The self-regulating PTC heating element prevents damage in case of operation in a dry radiator. A device error or malfunction is identified by a display of error codes.

Design Equipped with an easy to read single digit LED display in blue. The device has a screw connection and a version with a power cable masking and additional on/off switch under the cable housing is  available.

Colour Available colours: white, silver, chrome and black. The heating element can also be offered in any RAL colour and Terma special colours (including brass and gold) subject to a minimum order of 100 pcs per colour.
